inspireHER is a Tshirt line and MOVEment rooted in LOVE, HOPE and TRUTH – reminding “HER” that she has purpose and value. For every sale, the company redirects a portion of proceeds to the Shirts for HER project. This project wants to spread their message to girls and women far and wide, and remind HER that she matters! The Shirts for HER project provides free inspireHER shirts to girls and women in the community through various nonprofits and organizations that support girls and women.

Everyone’s story M A T T E R S. One of my friends who understands this so well created the inspireHER company and brand. Erica has helped even me to realize that my story matters. She and very few others pushed me to share my story through social media. Sharing in this matters. YOU MATTER.

Growing up, Erica was a happy, thriving little girl. Her world was full of joy; she had a family who would do anything for her. As she matured into a young teen, her perspectives and viewpoints about life started to shift. More specifically, the way she viewed her own life started to change. Little by little, her self-worth became diminished, which snowballed into her becoming depressed and confused. In fact, she got to a point where she didn’t even want to continue living. She wanted to call it quits; and she attempted to do just that.

She was 14 years old. Her world had become dark, and she was lost.

I too, have had these same thoughts. Depression has at times tried to take its hold on my life. We all go through seasons of hurt, pain and confusion. Thankfully, Erica had her family who helped pick her back up after that tragic season. I, too, had very very few people who know this about me, but they helped me through those times.

Not long after, Erica met a boy who she decided she wanted to spend ‘forever’ with. She became pregnant at the age of 16! She was still a baby…about to have a baby! She learned, in many ways, that life as a teen mom was not be easy. But, there was no turning back. She was determined to give her son, Nicholas, the very best life she could.

The reality is, if we had known then what we know now, we would have understood that we were created to make a difference in this world (no matter the trials and curves life throws our way).

We were never created to live depressed, defeated, guilty, condemned, ashamed or unworthy – but WE were created to be victorious!

Erica’s vision is to use inspireHER to share this message with girls and women around the world, one encouraging shirt at a time. And she has!

Each of us has a story so unique–not worthy of comparison. Each of us is created as unique as a fingerprint. Each of us is 100% original! I LOVE the shirt I am wearing below, called “Born An Original“. TODAY you can purchase this shirt at 30% off by using my own, unique code, “Lauren30”. The dusty blue with the metallic gold lettering is adorable. There are only a few left, so get yours today! The overalls (which I wore 2 days in a row) because they are so oh-so-comfy, can be purchased here and at the Dreamgirls Boutique located in Ocean Beach, California.

Our message to HER is – be bold, be courageous, be confident! Believe in yourself. Never be ashamed of your story, because it could help heal someone else. Use your lips to speak words of life, and use your hands to help others around you. Be kind. Love others. And more importantly, love yourself.

She knew that she was formed by God’s hands, dreamed up in His heart, and placed in this world for a purpose.

Thanks for stopping by #TirzahStands on this Finding Freedom Friday.
